It's about time!

Lately I've been reflecting on different aspects of my life and I realized that I really suck at keeping in touch with friends and family, especially since we moved out west. I am the epitomy of a person who works a certain profession, however can't carry it though in their own personal life. The accountant who can't keep their own checkbook, the house keeper that keeps a messy home, or in my case...the computer programmer who can't keep up a personal website. Pretty pathetic!

I have spent the last few months working to get a balance between work, side work and personal life. We have abandoned all of the side work. Mainly because we realized we were sacrificing too much of our personal lives.

I am turning over a new leaf and trying to change all that. It requires a lot for me, you see...I am a perfectionist and that brings about the all or nothing mentality. If I can't do it all in exactly the way I would like it to be then I get discouraged and don't do anything. I have been working to change that thinking, afterall Rome was not built in a day!

Bear with me, while I work through changing my mentality. I will make updates little bits at a time. Know that eventually I will show you all the pictures I've been meaning to and share lots of stories and experiences.
